Young model, Clarissa La Scala, caught in a passionate affair
This is not the first time Clarissa La Scala has made headlines for reasons outside of her talent or career. Yesterday afternoon, the 20 year old Italian model, known for her work with the Merenda Fashion House and the 1998 music video “always in your heart” by Jack Priceland, was spotted in a passionate embrace in the streets of Stockholm. The two were recorded by CCTV cameras, and the footage was somehow released after 2 hours of being shot. The man she was caught with was none other than Michele Pasqua (41), the former member of the 80s Italian band, “Luce Rossa”, and the husband of Gianna Liuzzi.
Liuzzi, a prominent designer, and a former top model, took La Scala under her wing and guided her to be Italy’s current lead runway model, ultimately being the main cause for her rise to fame. La Scala lived with Liuzzi, and accompanied her to many events and parties, whilst introducing her to prominent members of the fashion and entertainment industry. The pair shared a bond akin to a mother and daughter, so what changed?
La Scala’s affair with a man 20 years her senior, and the husband of her close mentor, came as a shock to anyone who knew of the pair. Liuzzi, in a brief interview with reporters yesterday evening, exclaimed, through tear streaked cheeks, that “I have no idea what has happened… I thought of her as my own daughter”.La Scala has had her fair share of controversies this year, being admitted to hospital for a heroin overdose, and subsequently being arrested shortly after. Some fans have suspected that this is an act from a woman with a fragile physical and mental state, and that the trio have the right to privacy in order to resolve this deeply personal issue.
Other fans, however, see this as a cruel and malicious act from La Scala, who is speculated to have felt jealousy and spite over the successful life and career of her guardian. Liuzzi was, and still is, arguably Italy’s most prominent and influential model, and remains relevant and powerful even to this day. But who knows what goes on in the drug addled minds of today’s youth?

Prendere Milano, the modelling agency La Scala is associated with, is rumoured to be dropping the young model from their ranks, and with them, it can be assumed that many of the brands and houses that La Scala has previously worked for will follow in their footsteps. The executive director of Prendere Milano, Romeo Mazzei, has condemned the affair, stating that it is “an embarrassment to the name of our agency” and “she does not represent what we stand for”. La Scala is yet to make a public comment, although her place of residence is being scouted by various reporters, and those close to her have been asked for comments. Her part time boyfriend, Adrien Émond, a footballer for the French team Olympique Marseilles, laughed at the questions reporters asked of him, stating that “hey, the man has money”.Pasqua will carry on with his Luce Rossa tour as usual, and is set to make an appearance this Saturday at the O2 arena in London.
